Why themed medals get people moving
Motivation is unreliable and discipline is overrated. A medal you genuinely want, in a design you would happily put on a shelf, does more for consistency than any amount of self-talk. Pick the character you like and work backwards from there.
Great for reluctant runners and teenagers
If you are trying to get someone moving who has no interest in running for its own sake, a character medal is a considerably easier sell than a fitness goal. Distances start at 1.5 miles and walking counts, so the entry point is genuinely low.
Collect the set
Most of these belong to multi-design series. Once you have one, the gap in the set becomes its own motivation. See the full challenge series collection.
